On 1 April 2026, Museum Wegner opened on the farm Hestholm just east of Tønder. The museum displays Hans J Wegner's well-known furniture classics such as the Teddy Bear Chair, the Peacock Chair and The Round Chair. But also tells about how Wegner worked to develop his different furniture types.

On the tour you will also hear about Wegner's upbringing in Tønder, get an insight into his first interior design assignment at Nyborg Library and see the Wegner chair that President Obama sat in for COP15 in Copenhagen.
