Beer tasting - with a guarantee of good mood In the best cabaret style, beer tasting, music and beer shows are combined, by Jørgen Rüdinger in the company of his pianist. A festive evening with the beer in the center where we are presented with no less than 8 different types of beer. Jørgen has more than 20 years of experience from Carlsberg, he has a solid knowledge of both Carlsberg's history and range as well as the rest of the beer world. He is therefore a cornucopia of funny and funny stories, songs and all the knowledge about beer you could imagine. It is possible to reserve a table at the Klostercafeen if you wish to eat before the event. Please note that tickets for beer and cabaret have been booked.

4+ | City walk Downtown Tønder - with Æ Kagmand.by Visit Rømø & Tønder
The tour starts at Statuen på Torvet, where I tell you about Kagmanden's job. Via the Humlekærren, the Old Town Hall and the old Nødkirkegård you walk to Smedegade and Kirkeplads. In the meantime, I tell you a little about the buildings, life in them, some disasters and what we do to avoid them, as well as a few famous people. On to the explanations of why the Klostercafeen has nothing to do with our monastery. Why is the street called Spikergade in Danish and who was the “uncle” who lived in it? Further to how Wulfstrasse could turn into Uldgade in a city where, until about 20 years ago, all “natives” spoke almost fluently Danish and German. Further past Fristaden, Emma's sister and how the beautiful Kreditbank went bankrupt because of a priest in Skærbæk. The tour ends at Drøhses House/Victoria with tales of Lace, the Altarpiece in the Church and a world record. 4+ In the Footsteps of the Festival through Tønder Havn and Nystad. with Banemand Hansen.by Visit Rømø & Tønder
Starting place: Bachmann's Watermill. End Place: Hagge's Pub. Take a walk with Banemand Hansen, where we follow in the footsteps of the Tønder Festival through Tønder. We start at Bachmanns Vandmølle/ Visemøllen. The tour continues along Jomfrustien, the refuge of the blacksmith Andersens Kælder. Along the way, Banemand Hansen tells a little about Tønder Havn and the vote on February 10, 1920. Banemand Hansen tells about his arrival at Tønder H in 1920 and Nystaden. The tour goes through some of Nystaden and ends at Gasthof am Westbahn/ Hagge's Pub. With a bit of jumping back and forth in time along the way, it will also make sense why the tour is named in Footprints of the Festival. 4+ | Museum Wegner Guided Tourby Visit Rømø & Tønder
On 1 April 2026, Museum Wegner opened on the farm Hestholm just east of Tønder. The museum displays Hans J Wegner's well-known furniture classics such as the Teddy Bear Chair, the Peacock Chair and The Round Chair. But also tells about how Wegner worked to develop his different furniture types. On the tour you will also hear about Wegner's upbringing in Tønder, get an insight into his first interior design assignment at Nyborg Library and see the Wegner chair that President Obama sat in for COP15 in Copenhagen. Attention: Afterwards, you can buy coffee and cake in the museum café.

At Klægager we serve this summer's Festive Festival barbecue menu with wonderful side dishes including salad and a wonderful summer dessert. Ex. Drinks Where we will also hear the band Vise Versa. They have been playing and performing in large and small contexts for approximately 30 years. The last 10 years with the current crew, which consists of Søs Ries, Anne Rubeck Brudvig, Georg Forchhammer and Claus Brink Christensen. They present themselves as follows: “We are Vise Versa — we come with a good mood and create a Tønder atmosphere with a wide selection of Irish and Scottish songs — a mix of songs with good stories and well-known sing-along songs”.

4+ | Mead tasting V/fantastic brewby Visit Rømø & Tønder
Honey — also known as honey wine — is one of the world's oldest alcoholic beverages and was enjoyed thousands of years before the Vikings. Archaeological findings suggest that mead was made over 9,000 years ago. I have been making mead myself for more than thirteen years. In my production, the honey is not heated, as otherwise it will remove part of the fine and natural flavor nuances. The mead is made as natural wine, where the yeast is allowed to ferment completely without the addition of sulphur. The honey I use comes from organic areas around Abild and at the festival site in Tønder. The actual brewing takes place in Møgeltongder, so the whole process is strongly locally rooted. I have selected eight different types of mead. The selection ranges widely — from fruit mead and crunchy spontaneously fermented flavors to purple pea flower mead, dark and sweet forest honey mead, and braggots, which are an exciting blend of beer and mead. For the tasting, home-baked bread is served.

Beer tasting with beer from Fantastbryg Fantastbryg is back at the 4Plus days leading up to Tønder Festival. Depth, balance and complexity -- with a touch of horn music -- are the hallmarks when I brew beer. I work with all beer types and try, based on my own preferences, to give each beer a “Fantast” twist. The goal is to create flavours that delight and give a very special expression. Fantastbryg is a microbrewery located in Møgeltongder The eight beers on the program where homemade bread is served. Blunt Blonde. 6.8% Belgian Blonde. A Belgian yeast has been used that contributes light notes of citrus and annanas. Barrels Wheat. 6.8% A Belgian-inspired wheat beer, seasoned with orange and coriander. The wheat is of the old variety Emmer. Shelf Porter. 7%. Full-bodied and round porter, rounded with elderberries. Leathery. 7.7%. Golden beer seasoned with larch bark that has a sweetish spicy character. There is also added carob syrup which plays well with the larch. Dark Mango. 9%. A dark brown beer where the notes of the roasted malt fill as much as the notes from the Mango fruits. The Twilight Mager|Nautic| 10.4%. A round and mild smoked Stout with tonka beans, cane sugar, French high Mocca oak and lactose. The Darkmaker. 11%. After twilight comes total darkness in the lining of an Imperial smoked stout, with caramelised cane sugar and American oak. Vol.5 11%. Dark brown very complex and slightly tart Barley Wine aged on pecan wood.
